To celebrate the 100th post on the website, we’re giving away a Quest Study Bible. With a cool duo-toned blue cover it looks good and will hold up for a long time. The Quest Study Bible has a really neat set up. Here’s a review from Amazon.com,
“I received this Bible as a gift a few years ago and highly recommend it! There are questions and answers along the sides of the pages to assist you while reading. This has been VERY helpful to me and has actually encouraged me to continue reading.
In the past, I’d often get confused or caught up on what something meant, but the notes really help you understand things like background of the text/situation, definition of words, how the information is relevant for us today, etc.”
So, now is your chance to pick up your very own Quest Study Bible! All of this to say,“Thank you” for helping the YouthWebsite make itto this mile stone. Here’s how it will work. The 5th person to comment on this post, and don’t be rude, you have to wait until someone else has posted a comment. That way one person doesn’t comment 5 times.
So, the 5th comment from a registered user gets a shiny new Quest Study Bible. Thank you for the first 100 posts!
Check it out! We are on Youtube! Sound Method put a bunch of their videos from the March 1st show up. You can find them all here. Take a few minutes and remember the good times or get your first taste of what it was like rocking out in the sanctuary.
First registered user to comment on this page gets a shiny new Sound Method CD all their own!
To everyone who came out and made the Sound Method concert such a success. I appreciate all of you that threw off your concerns and inhibitions to just let go and have a good time. I hope to have many more concerts like it in the future. I’ve got a couple of CD’s and T-shirts from them to give away. You’ll need to be a member of the website to win them though. Also, I hope to get the pictures from the show up here and mount up the drum head they all signed.
This is a tough one. You see. . .I didn’t win the books. Neither did you. I know, don’t cry, it’s hard to accept. I’m in the office now and will have time on Sunday if any of you need to talk about it. Don’t be afraid to let out your emotions during this troubling time.
Tim Challies is giving away all six volumes of the Reformed Expository Commentary Series. I think any of you that have met me know that I love free stuff. Let me tell you, I LOVE free stuff. Which is why I get a little extra giddy when that free stuff is actually good. These commentaries are good stuff.
Here’s how this works. You click on the link on the right that shows all the books and it signs you up for the giveaway. Remember this is a Christian blogger, so he’s not going to get crazy with your email. Once you’ve signed-up I’ll also get an extra ballot. I think it’s a win/win, because if I win. . .well. . .I win, but if you win, you get a really great set of books to help you with your bible study!
