Welcome to the wild and exciting world of the Linkapalooza.  Please fasten all seat belts and keeps your hands and feet inside the vehicle till it comes to a complete stop.

Family Watchdog:   You can check and see who lives around you that may have been a sexual offender at one point and time.  While that is valuable knowledge, there is plenty of other stuff on here that will help you stay safe.

Stock Market. . The Game:  It seems like thinks are starting to look a little better with the world of share trading.  Now you can try it out and see how things work.  Maybe when you make a little money, you can start investing for real.  You might be the one to fix the whole thing.

The Best and Worst Super Bowl Ads:  That pretty much covered it.  Which do you think is the best and the worst?

7 Natural Phenomenon You Probably Haven’t Seen:  I like #3, because it’s ridiculous and means you’ve probably put goat poop on you at some point.

That’s all for now.  Enjoy.

Welcome to the strange and exciting world of the Linkapalooza! Direct contact with your mind may blow it. Refreshments will be served afterwards. Enjoy.

Sing Snap: Q- What’s the best thing about Karaoke? A- “Watching people sing. . .badly.” Q- What’s the biggest problem with Karaoke? A- “Being around people.” Well, Sing-snap is here to help meet all your karaoke needs, without all those icky people. Interpersonal relationships are overrated.

Myplan: So, I think this is pretty cool for all you student types, particularly all you seniors.

Fly Guy: This is pretty weird. . .

Phone Spell: Sometimes I wonder what my cell phone number spells. This is the website that helped me learn it spells. . .absolutely nothing. Maybe yours does?

Twitter: Facebook has constant status updates, and let’s admit it. We love them. Myspace even tries to fill our need for voyeurism. The problem is that there’s all that other stuff in the way. Twitter focuses just on what you’re doing at the moment. So. . .what are you doing?

For Christmas I’m giving you a giant heaping helping of Linky goodness. Unwrap it slowly and let the tension build.

Let’s start off with some Christmas themed links.

The History of Christmas: How much do you know about Christmas? How much does the History Channel know about Christmas? Find out here!

All Things Christmas: The sheer amount of Christmassiness on this page made my eyes bleed. I’ll be at the local eye-bleeding wing of the hospital if anyone wants to visit.

Amazing Christmas Ideas: Chances are if you still need ideas for gifts it’s too late, but this site might be helpful anyways. It’s got a video in the top right corner that is not to be missed.

Onto some other types of Link.

Time’s 50 top 10 lists of 2007: Be forewarned that there is a picture of Brittney Spears wearing too little clothing. Use discernment in deciding if you can click the link without lusting.

NaNoWriMo: That’s short for National Novel Writers Month, it’s not this month, it’s in November. See. . .this way, you’ll have plenty of time to prep.

Carbon Footprint Calculator: What’s a carbon footprint calculator? What’s a carbon footprint? What’s Carbon? What’s a footprint? Some of these questions will be answered if you take the link.

Interactive Creativity: It’s a pool.

Cheese Strings: It’s this magical world themed around the only delicious cheese product that’s also fun to pull apart.

Finally. . .I would like to give you a link that, to me, is the bow on top of the box. I give to you, probably the single crowning achievement of my entire musical life. I think it’s funny. I hope you do to. My friend Alan and I put it together a year or two ago. It’s our very own Christmas song/cartoon.

Santa Claus Ate Christmas: Hosted on Alan’s new design website, so don’t post random stuff there. Enjoy all the weirdness that it is.

Merry Christmas!

I’m foregoing the Monthly version and moving to a numeric version of the Linkapalooza. This way if I wind up doing the Linkapalooza in the middle of the month, that month won’t feel short changed. Well, either way, say hello to Linkapalooza 7!

More than 100 Languages and their word for squirrel: Here are a few of my personal favorites. “Thqööninikubëlhotii” which is Uqoi for “tree rodent”. Next time you’re at a Star Trek convention just walk up next to a Klingon and ask them if they’ve seen any “qon’Het’wa”. You can’t make this stuff up.

Sermon Jams: I have to admit, I’ve really liked these since I found them. I know some may not like the mix of hip-hop beats and the teachings of Christ. For me, they seem to blend seamlessly. There are about 25, five minute sermons set to a beat with a little melody behind them. Check them out.

Sovereign Grace Resources: Maybe you like your teaching without all that music in the background. Well, Sovereign Grace Ministries has made all their messages free. If you want to hear what a great teaching ministry has to say on a topic you can search for it. One of the cool things about this is that Joshua Harris, author of many great books on dating and how to have godly relationships, is a pastor within their association of churches. So, you can hear him whenever you want. Go team.

Googlenope: I Google, a lot. It’s basically how I know stuff. I can relate to this site. It’s a collection of all the times Google has told you you’re an idiot. You think you’ve got a perfectly good search set up and it says, “Nope!” and you have to try something else.

FreeRice: This is sooo cool. It’s a game, but it’s also a charitable endeavor. You basically go and play a word game, picking out pretty easy definitions. For each you get right, you send ten grains of rice to needy people. I love this idea! Go play!

It’s been quite on the website, I apologize. Here’s a Linkapalooza “Light” to help tide you over.

The Holy Observer: It’s religious satire done by Christians for Christians. I particularly liked this one article. It made me chuckle. Be forewarned, they can be a little snarky.

CHANGE: This is a pretty cool group that gets alot of love from Way of The Master Radio. They’re all about reaching students and their campus’. Check it out and you might get some ideas.

CCM Patrol: I like good music. I like music that is Christian. I like good Christian music. Sometimes I feel like I have to pick one or the other. This website feels the same way and is doing something about it. Check out their reviews.

Team Ghost Riders: Stop. . .don’t click the link. I don’t know if you can handle it. What’s the first thing you think of when you see the name “Team Ghost Riders”? Is it monkeys riding dogs at the rodeo? If it isn’t then you may lose your mind if you click the link. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

**Theses sites were ok when I checked them. You know the deal. If they aren’t ok let me know. **
