Here is a place to post prayer requests and share our needs with one another. There is no better way for us to grow as a group than to be in constant prayer for one another. Doing all of this with Phil 4:6-7 in mind. Try and make a stop by here everyday so as to not miss a chance to give encouragement or write a prayer request down.

I received this prayer request from a friend of mine. Please pray for the Bates family.
“There is a guy here at work whose son has a brain tumor. His son, as far as I know is still in surgery right now having the tumor removed. Please pray for this young man and his family in this troubling time. His name is Brody Bates and his father is Vince Bates.
Thanks yall, I am sure they will appreciate all your prayers and thoughts.
As I promised yesterday, I am sending out an update on Brody Bates. Sorry I could not do this yesterday, but I did not know myself. This is the boy whose father works with me, he is 6 years old. He is recovering from surgery in ICU, they hope to move him to a regular room today. The doctors say that from the looks of his most recent MRI they got all of the tumor. He is holding down fluids and they think he should recover from all this real soon. Please continue to pray for the Bates family as a whole.”

hey yall!
I have a praise report, prayer request, and a thanks!
just to let everybody know about the m.r.i I had today,
its over! i was kinna scared through the whole thing, but the nurses kept checkin on me and they let me listen to music (kenney chesney!) and lay on really comfy pillows, so i was okay. i just tried to get my mind of the fact that i was in a gajillion dollar tube with some kinna baige colored contraption around my head, and think of other stuff. I thought alot about what I was going to eat at chili’s once we left. see, im having this other thing called an E.N.G next week, and they gave me this list of stuff NOT to do the day of, like don’t eat before you come in, no make-up can be worn, no medication can be taken 48 hr before the test, etc.
well, smart little me thought it was for the m.r.i!
So i didn’t eat lunch today,i didn’t wear make up to school, or ANYTHING! So i was starving! So anyways, it was easier than i thought it would be, and i’m glad it was! But im not gunna get the results til next week, so
just keep prayin that theyll come back normal. thanx for prayin for me to get through the m.r.i and everything else yall do for me! love yall!

hey again!
now i just have a prayer request!
As some of you may know, this guy that graduated from my school 2 years ago, died in a car accident this morning while most of us were in first period. His name was chip turner (one of our librarians sons) and was supposedly thrown out of the car and died immediatley. He was the passenger of Seal Neal (And no, that isn’t a nickname) who remains alive, at grady hospital in recoverable condition. The doctors found alcohol in Seal’s system, so there is a big chance that he will go to jail for vehicular man slaughter. the whole school day was full of crying, shock, and crying so hard that people threw up. Chip had just turned 21 yesterday, and his friends were planning a suprise party for him 2nite. Ms. turner (chips mom) is such a sweet woman, and because of alcohol, she lost her son this morning. chip was said to have a lot of potential and was a good kid. please pray for the entire turner family which includes mr and mrs turner and trent truner, chips brother. also pray for all of chips friends that love him and are going to miss him terribly.
R.I.P Chip turner

Hey everyone, please pray for Mary Wheeler (a really sweet woman from Marietta), she was in a serious car accident yesterday and has broken her pelvis and has some internal damage as well. The complication to it all is that she has an aggressive form of cancer. While the injuries aren’t life threatening they are the last thing she needs while dealing with her cancer.
